I am only 16, just looking to make some extra money. I want to start small, buy some inexpensive lots of maybe ipod accessories? If I gain profit, I might get into more expensive things that have the potential to make more profit.
I am wondering if this sounds like a good idea and if so what sort of small inexpensive item lots should I look at? Also what is very popular and tends to sell high on ebay, especially with holidays coming soon?

this isnt a very good idea at all, with no grasp of the legal aspects of online buisness you are way too young and will probably wind up getting screwed out of money or banned for misuse of ebay.
sell silver stiff and gold stuff. claim that silver might trend high and buy silver now! also have any old junk(stuff from the 60 and earlier). sell them as collectible.
though i am not into ipod if there is a market for it on ebay go for it. just do your research first. something i am looking into right now is ink cartridges. there are sites that buy ink cartridges specific ones but still, than there is staples and office depot and office max who all give u some kind of 3 dollar rebate per with each store having it’s own rules and such. But what i am looking into is going to places to get these for free such as hospitals they print so much stuff daily, dmvs police departments basically anywhere goverment is going to have tons of empty ink cartridges, also any big insurance company and such. so just do your research and go for it whatever it may be.
In order to really make money on eBay you need to be buying wholesale products. With that said, there are many scams out there. Do your research. Personally, you should dive into the world of digital products. More money, less hassel.
