Many other accessories will, yes….. but, not the case as the first gen ipod touchs which are not quite as slim as the 2nd and 3rd gen ipod touches that happen to be exactly the same size.
Almost all electronics designed for the 3rd and 2nd gen are compatible with the 1st gen
however there are a few things that are not so make sure to check the item description before you purchase that item.

yeah, cases will work/fit but they wont fit as well as they can. I have a 1st gen case and it kind of fits my 2nd gen. I would swap, but I’m in england
. Back to the point, they will fit, but not as well as possible. Check eBay before anything, that’s where i (albeit accidentally) got my 1st gen case from.
